Signs of Grace
Memoirs and storytelling as a way to transform your life: using words and images. Do you feel drawn to explore passages from your life? Telling your stories not only allows you to revisit your past and takes you to new places in your future, but others may need to hear what you have to say. In this workshop, you find your unique voice and answer the call of your soul.
We will embark on an interior journey to look at the stories we’ve been living and identify the signs of grace in our histories that will transform our lives. Using words and imagery, we bring to light our life-defining experiences and their lessons, and begin to create the next chapters for ourselves.
Both writing and visual exercises will be used as prompts, and participants are free to write in essay or memoir form; draw, scribble, capture dreams, journal; use collage or family histories and photos; or use a combination of different techniques. This six-session workshop will help you to unlock your creativity and discover your authentic voice and style.
This workshop provides a supportive place to enter into a reflective and creative process. Writing and drawing experience is not required. This course may be repeated.
Saturdays, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Sunday Intensives
Grace Work
In this workshop, you will be led through several exercises over the course of an afternoon, that will allow you to focus on a specific event or experience in your life. You will discover its transformational lesson and begin to develop a meaningful essay or work of art from that story. This workshop may be repeated.
